Circus Plume’s last hurrah
UN JOUR UNE SORTIE
It’s their last season — their Dernière saison. And it’s a softer season than Tempus Fugit. Those who were unaware 37 years ago that they were inventing le nouveau cirque are at their best when they keep it simple, most notably in a dance number with a feather (a plume). They have also got the art down of turning a man into a wounded animal wandering through beautifully designed underbrush. And the orchestra this time around is a major asset to the show, whose only sins are its transitions, which are overdone. At the Parc de Parilly through August 5.
